August is World Breastfeeding Month, and to help new moms, we've compiled top tips, tricks, myths debunked, and real mom stories from the frontlines! While it's not always easy to breastfeed and we support every choice, we hope to help make it a bit easier for new moms with advice from the experts and from real moms like you.

Nursing any newborn is not only about giving that new baby the best nutrients, but also about making sure that breastfeeding moms put their own nutrition first. Here are some tips and snack ideas to help with milk production and stay healthy while feeding your baby.

Weaning your baby to solids can be a stressful time for most parents. The most important message I want to convey to parents is to try to “relax” through this process as much as possible. Your baby will guide you, let you know their likes and dislikes, how much they want and what textures they can handle. No matter what any regulations say, follow your baby’s cues. I hope this next stage is a wonderful time in your child’s development, but if you are confused or not sure at all, reach out.

You birthed a beautiful baby and now are struggling with extra weight from your pregnancy. You are not alone! Most women feel uncomfortable with their weight after having baby. And the media, with spotlights on celebrities who seemingly shed the pounds fast and easily, only serves to reinforce for women feelings of disappointment, sometimes shock, at what a true, natural post-partum body looks like.
