S is for summer, spring and SUN! Alphabet crafts are a big part of our Alphabet Play program and our Sun craft is perfect for little learners.
Description
Welcome spring and sunshine with this alphabet craft from momstown! Practice letter sounds and cutting and pasting with this s is for sunshine activity - great for young crafters.
Our model crafter is a ray of sunshine!
Materials:
- Construction paper
- Tissue paper
- Glue
- Scissors
Directions:
Cut out a big circle for the sun and glue onto construction paper. Cut out a letter S and glue to the middle - s is for sun!
Use tissue paper squares scrunched up to add dimension and colour to the sun, and cut strips for the sunrays to glue around the outside. (keen eyes will notice the yellow rays can be cut like the 's' shape too!).
