Footprint Keepsake Mother's Day Card
Tiny feet grow so fast, footprint crafts make the perfect keepsake! momstown's Baby Basics makes art part of the fun, even when it's baby's first Mother's Day!
Description
Footprints just make the sweetest crafts - and they are such a lovely keepsake of the tiny feet as they grow so quickly! Many momstown programs, including Baby Basics, make art part of the fun - and for Mother's Day some of our littlest momstown kids made Mother's Day cards with a tiny footprint built right in!
momstown Mississauga's little ones were front and centre - and (mostly) willing participants in the craft creation!
Materials
- cardstock
- paint
- paint brush
- clipboard (For a solid surface to hold the card)
- Glue
- printed poem
- wipes (for quick clean up)
Directions
- Attach the card stock to the clipboard for a solid surface to work on.
- Paint feet (one at a time!) and press to the cardstock. Allow it to dry.
- Print and cut out the poem, glue to the inside of the card.
The little feet were painted, pressed onto paper - and then the 'best' print was cut out and glued to the front of the card.
