Chick thumbprint craft for Easter
Paint plus tiny fingers makes for a wonderful Easter keepsake, perfect for an Easter card or personalized piece of art.
Description
Thumbprint crafts are so much fun for little ones - it's amazing to see what you can make with their little hands! This Easter, make spring chicks with your child's thumbprints - so cute and makes a great gift or keepsake too!
Materials:
- Art canvas (available at dollar stores)
- Yellow and purple paint
- Red and black markers (Sharpies are great)
- Thumbs!

Paint the canvas in purple and let dry. Then pour a small amount of yellow paint on to a plate or piece of paper, and have your child transfer their thumbprint onto the canvas.
Have them spread out the thumbprints so you will have room to draw the rest of the details for the chicks.

Take a marker and draw on legs and chicken feet. Draw dots for eyes and use red marker to draw a beak on each little chick. You've got a work of Easter art!
