Easter Egg mosaic

At momstown, out of boredom comes creativity!

While waiting for me to prepare another craft project, Lauren got busy cutting up a meat tray (great scissor practice!) and made this beautiful blue and white mosaic egg!

Materials:

• Cardstock
• Glue
• Scissors
• "Mosaic" materials - meat trays (!), beads,

Directions:

Have kids cut up small pieces of foam, paper, or whatever materials you have handy.

Trace an egg (oval) shape on the cardstock paper (or have your child do it - good pencil control practice!) Cover the inside of the egg with glue, and start making a mosaic!

Here's another example, this time with beads, styrofoam cups cut up, and of course the eggshell-coloured meat tray pieces!
