In the winter, keeping your child’s hands warm can be a constant struggle – from keeping baby’s mitts on to making sure your snowball-loving toddler’s mitts don’t get soaked! momstown has found the best mittens for all ages and stages – as well as few accessories that help those mittens stay with their kittens!

Best stay-put mittens for babies & toddlers

smittensSmittens, made by January Baby, are a great invention for the stage where your child just won't keep his or her mitts on! The band threads through the back of a jacket so that the mittens stay tucked in and your child can't pull them off. Pictured here are the infant fleece version, but they are also available in waterproof material, and with thumbs.

Easy-to-put-on (which is key at this age!), the have a fleece lining and insulated outer shell. A durable nylon palm and zippered opening makes them both easy to put on and easy to grip with. There's also a strap with velcro closure to secure mitt to wrist.

They are durable mini clips that cannot be opened by little fingers and can easily be attached to the cuffs of baby’s jacket sleeves. Available in fun designs and colours, too!
