West Side Beef’s Classic Chicken Wings

July 16, 2019momstownFeatured, FoodNo comments

I’m sharing a new a recipe idea for you all with National Chicken Wing Day in mind, coming up on July 29. I always like to keep my kids entertained with food and this just might do the trick for you too.

I’d been making chicken wings the same way for a while and when I found out this Chicken Wing Day was drawing near, I used the opportunity to bring my wing game to the next level with a new method.

I followed a recipe from West Side Beef and honest-to-goodness, you will LOVE it. My kids will NEVER say no to wings but this recipe is next level good.  You’re marinating your wings in the perfect concentration of fat, acids, herbs and umami and enhancing the natural flavours of the meat.

This recipe kicked butt and will be perfect to serve up on Chicken Wing Day (they’ve got a day for everything!). It’s easy to make and I love that it’s a lighter alternative to fried wings you get at most restaurants but these still remain crispy and so savoury.

Sound good?

After you try it, you will be wishing every day is National Chicken Wing Day, I’m not even kidding.

Have fun winging it with this recipe!
