Watercolour Sticker Resist Valentine

January 27, 2015momstownRecessNo comments
This is a great craft for a patient preschooler or school-age child who wants to make their own Valentines. momstown’s craft room turned out 20 cards in one session with this fantastic watercolour sticker resist painting idea

What you need:

  • Large paper suitable for watercolour painting (thick white is best)
  • Heart-shaped stickers
  • Watercolours
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Lift up stickers carefully, once paint is dry.

Cut card stock into quarters to make cards. Cut portions of watercolour art, and glue stick to cardstock. Your child can write a message on the back!

Any scrap art paper or leftover painted work can be cut into hearts to add to the design.

Thanks to Paint Cut Paste for the inspiration!
