1 lrg brie wheel
2 medium onions
2 pkgs of sliced mushrooms
1/2 stick of butter...or more if you want more
1-2 tbsp of olive oil
Salt to taste
Optional: garilic or any additonal spices you'd like to flavour it with
Preheat oven to 350. In a non-stick pan on medium heat combine the butter and oil.
When the butter has melted and is at a slow bubble add onions (chopped thinly in circles) and sliced mushrooms.Add garlic and salt if desired. Cook until onions and mushrooms are carmelized.
Place the brie wheel on a cookie sheet lined with Parchment paper. Add onion and mushroom mixture to top coating entire wheel.
Bake for 20-25 mins or until Brie wheel is soft to the touch. Serve with an assortment of crackers. Rice crackers are our fave!
