You can make Valentine’s art or wrapping paper for Valentine’s gifts with this simple and fun activity from momstown.
Materials:
- heart-shaped cookie cutters
- paper
- paint
Directions:
Put paint in a shallow bowl or tray so it is easy to dip the cookie cutters in. Have your kids press the cookie cutters into the paint, then onto the paper.
Works well to start with one cutter per colour (but as you'll see below, this may change!!)
Kids can practice making patterns or just go 'freestyle' and enjoy the fun designs! My little guy was happiest when he got to mix the colours…
And then when it became a whole finger-painting creation!
