Amid much online gnashing of teeth and rending of eye-catching, affordable Mossimo garments, Target announces it is closing its Canadian stores. More than 17,000 Canadians stand to lose their jobs, though the big retailer is promising to work toward paying all affected workers 16 weeks' severance.
Oscar the Grouch
Academy Award nominations are out, and the zany, creative LEGO Movie did NOT make the cut for Best Picture. Director Phil Lord gets the last laugh, though, with this fantastic response on Twitter
