I am so excited to be celebrating my first Christmas as an aunt this year. My nephew, Ayden will be 10 months old this Christmas so finding the perfect gifts for him is paramount. As a mother of 3 kids, I can appreciate when you receive toys that your kids will use vs. toys that just make noise.
Through play, children learn to discover, build, create and solve. And VTech® understands the importance of smart play. They have products for every age group up to 9 yrs old. Which is why I chose these two VTech toys that I know he will love and my young sister will appreciate. 😉
My nephew is already so curious about everything around him, getting him toys that will help him explore more is important to me. I think the Sort & Discover Activity Cube is perfect. This little cube has seven fun activities which help develop fine motor skill and hand-eye coordination and two electronic panels that introduce colours, numbers, animals, 5 piano keys introduce numbers, colors and music, a spinner that lights up and introduces animals and objects, book page plays two nursery rhymes, includes 4 colorful shape blocks, 75+ songs, sounds melodies and phrases. Retails for $39.99 It is available at Walmart, Toys “R” Us, Amazon and Mastermind Toys
And I’m also a fan of the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Treasure Mountain Train Adventure because it’s for ages 1-5. Which means it’s a toy that my nephew will use for a few years. This little train chugs around the tracks, through the tunnels and up hills on its own. The toy freight train plays three sing-along songs and teaches kids the letter “F” and the name of the vehicle. The freight train responds to the playset’s nine SmartPoint® locations with fun phrases, music and more. The gold mine also includes rotating gears, a crane to move the shape pieces around and a mine shaft where you can pretend to mine for gold. It retails for $69.99 and available at Walmart, Toys “R” Us, Loblaws, Sears, Canadian Tire, Amazon and Mastermind Toys.
I’m a fan of VTech toys and now my sister and her future toy tester will be too.
