T is for Train and Track

All aboard!  momstown moms and kid are learning about planes, trains and automobiles this month at their programs!  One of our most beloved monthly events is Alphabet Play.  Toddlers and preschoolers can have fun creating and learning all about each letter of the alphabet in an engaging way.  This month, many will learn that T is for train or track!  Here’s a great way to learn about T.

 

Transportation- T is for Train Craft

 

Materials:

cut out train picture like this one

construction paper

cut out letter “T”

several thick rectangle “tracks”

glue

marker

 

Directions:

1.  Glue the “T” to the construction paper backing

 

2.  Glue 6-8 rectangles along the T to be the “tracks”

 

3.  Add your train image or draw your own.

 

4.  Try to practice writing the letter T!
