momstown loves finding household items and incorporating them into crafts. Today we used cotton pads (meant for makeup removal) and turned them into snowmen!
So neat to see how differently three kids make the same craft! The cotton pads add texture and make it look like real snow.
What you need:
Have kids cut out circles to form the snowmen (good cutting skill practice!) and glue them onto the construction paper. Then, glue on the cotton pads to create texture and a snowy fluffy effect. You can pull on the pads to fluff them up a bit!
Add googly eyes, then use scrap paper to make a hat, scarf, and any other embellishments your snowman may need!
momstown has so many snowman crafts; there is bound to be one your child will enjoy!
