Karrie our momstown mom entrepreneur from momstown Barrie shared this great i Rainbow theme that she brought to life at her 4 year-olds recent birthday party!
Activities:
Set up a scavenger hunt for a 'pot of gold' at the end of the rainbow. Use chocolate coins for the 'gold'!
You could also use the colour theme for different stations like sidewalk chalk, sidewalk paint, or coloured bubbles!
Decorations
Try making these fun rainbows for decorations. Cut a strip for each colour of the rainbow, each one an inch shorter than the next and then attach at the ends, it will make a rainbow shape to accommodate for the different sizes!
Food & Cake- This is truly a rainbow cake – both inside and out!
The batter was all different colour and layered on top of each other (awesome finished product!).
The cake decorations were Rainbow candies!
For snacks, make fruit trays into rainbows (red strawberries and watermelon, blueberries, honeydew melon for green, pineapple for yellow, purple grapes and cantaloupe for orange).
Loot Bags
Stick with the rainbow/colour theme and you've got lots of loot bag options. Put together mini tie-dye kits (white t-shirt and a few tie dye paints), or give art supplies like colouring books, crayons, paint sets, and coloured bubbles!
