Peaches and Pork

November 9, 2014momstownRecessNo comments
Yay – your kids gets a serving of fruit with their dinner! Peaches add a sweet taste to pork chops that young kids love too.
Preparation Time: 5
Cooking Time: 45
Yield: 4
Description:

Looking for something different to try for dinner?  Whether its winter and you're looking for a bit of fruit back in your diet, or summer you want to use some of those delicious market peaches, this one's for you.

Thanks to a momstown Burlington member for sharing this!

Ingredients:

4-5 Pork chops
Dijon mustard (1 tbsp)
Peach or Apricot jam (2 tbsp)
1 can peach slices or equivalent in fresh
Salt & Pepper

Season with salt and pepper on porkchops, brown them in a pan, transfer to baking dish.

Sauce – dijon mustard (can't taste it in the dish, just don't let kids see you put it in), peach jam (I have substituted apricot double fruit just fine), and a big can of peach slices.

Pour sauce over porkchops  and cook at 350 until they are done, roughly 30-45 min depending on thickness of chops.
