Oh the good old paper plate – good for so many crafts! momstown loves to use them for many crafty uses.
We used them for tropical fruit making oranges, peaches and yellow mangoes. The slight curve provides a nice bump to make it look like a round fruit. Simply paint and add a stem and leaf and you have a bowl of fruit in no time!
Set your child up with paint, plates and brushes. Get painting and cover the whole plate. Once dry glue on the stem and leaves.
We’ve learned a great trick to keep the mess at a minimum – give your child a box top to paint in, the low sides make it easy to reach into but manages any spills. You can reuse this cardboard for many paint projects.
Have a fruitful day!
