We had our Grandmother visited us from New York, it was very memorable 4 weeks we had spent with her. Our whole family enjoyed going to various farms for berry picking, it was amazing to watch how kids from city discover the farm’s life. My boys found out that it take a lot of work to grow the crop. We also went to the Toronto Island where kids had a blast.

Lots of hikes throughout amazing Ontario parks (perfect for a 7 year old with a broken and stitched up finger that couldn’t get wet for the entire very hot month of August, ugh). Forest hikes and picnics were perfect!

  • Laurel Catton

we really enjoyed swimming, relaxing in the sun, and attending some summer festivals!

I feel like summer just flew by and I’m trying to make the last of this last weekend. The beach was probably the highlight, swimming and splash pad. Water Fun!

The best part of our summer was our family camping trip to Jellystone. It’s a great way to spend a week with the kids out in nature with no electronic distractions! This is a great contest – thanks!

With the economy not so great in our part of Canada, we did our best to do simple inexpensive things this summer like bike rides and camping in the backyard – actually made for a great summer!!
