Make your own cloud dough – for great sensory exploration all ages can enjoy

February 19, 2012momstownRecessNo comments
momstown kids from toddler to school age got into the fun sensory activity of making and playing with cloud dough!

Materials:

  • 8 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of baby oil (you can adjust but use this 8:1 ratio)

Directions:

Kids can start by mixing the flour and the baby oil – you might need to help to make sure it mixes well – takes about 5 minutes to develop the right consistency. It has a wonderful smooth feel, and kids can play with it just like damp sand – it forms into cups and shapes – get out those playdough molds, measuring cups, and small plastic cups and let them explore!
