Dried lentils, popcorn, and quinoa make this look like a real fall leaf!
What you need:
- Dried beans, lentils, popcorn, quinoa
- Cookie sheet (to keep the mess contained!)
- Cardboard/cardstock
- Glue
- Marker
Trace a leaf shape onto the cardboard.
You could even bring in a leaf from outside to use as a tracer!
Spread glue all over the leaf.
Have your kids add the beans any way they wish, to create a mosaic of textures!
If you use a cookie sheet underneath you'll be able to catch the runaway items and make it an easier cleanup.
