It doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside, there is always a fun rain craft to do inside! Here are two rainy day crafts we made in momstown Milton to celebrate the change to spring season (we’re happy it’s raining not snowing!).
Create an umbrella. You can use a variety of materials for this activity. We started by cutting out a basic umbrella shape. Then, taped a pipe cleaner to the back (a popsicle stick would work, too). We chose to decorate our umbrellas with pom poms and glitter glue.
Our second craft came after singing the classic rhyme, “it’s raining, it’s pouring….(your child’s name) is snoring.” We used cupcake holders cut in half and glued them onto a piece of construction paper. We drew handles on our umbrellas and then decorated the page with raindrops.
Enjoy your rainy day crafts!
This spring our friends in momstown Barrie celebrated spring by making their own umbrella crafts this week!
