How to make a mosaic pumpkin

October 13, 2011momstownRecessNo comments
momstown’s pumpkin crafts are keeping our kids busy these days! Here’s a great use for scrap orange paper and some great scissor practice too!

What you need:

  • Construction paper – orange
  • Cardboard (back of cereal box)
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue

First, go crazy cutting orange paper into random small pieces – something most kids love to do! Then, instead of the usual clean up, cut a pumpkin shape from cardboard, cover with glue, and then apply the orange pieces to the pumpkin to make a mosaic.

Finally, use the black marker to draw on a jack o'lantern face! Happy Hallowe'en!
