How to Make a Chick from a Cup

March 19, 2014momstownRecessNo comments
Using supplies you have around the house is not only an inexpensive way to have some crafting fun, but also great to upcycle packaging and products! We love this cute chick craft made from a yellow cup for Easter. Makes a great gift for teachers, grandparents and even friends!

Materials:

yellow plastic or paper cup

orange construction paper or foam sheet

googly eyes

Easter grass

Easter chocolates and treats for friends

glue gun or glue

Directions:

1.  Glue your googly eyes on your cup for the chick's eyes.

2.  Cut an orange triangle for the chick's beak.  Glue it under the eyes.

3.  Add in some Easter grass inside your cup and fill it with treats to take to your friends at school, teachers or even grandparents!  It also makes a perfect table decoration for Easter.

This chick craft is perfect for a unit about farm animals or spring.
