Description:

Perfect for entertaining with crackers or veggies or even to pack for the kid's lunch box!  Simple ingredients to make this family favourite in your own home.

Ingredients:

1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed
About 1/4 C olive oil
2-3 crushed garlic cloves
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
Pepper & italian seasoning to taste (cumin will add some spice, if you choose)

Directions:

1.  Be sure that chickpeas are rinsed.

2.  Throw all of the ingredients into the food processor (I used an immersion blender) and blend until smooth.

3.  Serve with crackers, pita, veggies and use as a spread on wraps and sandwiches.

You can refrigerate this dip for up to 3 days.
