6 peeled ripe (but firm) peaches, pitted & halved
6 peeled ripe (but firm) pears, cored & halved
goat cheese (for peaches)
blue cheese (for pears)
1. Prepare the fruit and then brush with oil. BBQ until softened and have slight crust but not too much.
2. Remove from heat and put a spoonful of either goat cheese or blue cheese on the fruit. Heavenly with grilled pork or chicken. Or nice as a very light dessert with a glass of wine.
PS: Alternatively, you could serve the fruit up with ice cream and skip the cheese!
