Do you save up your toliet paper rolls for your next crafting inspiration? I do! When it comes to getting ready for the holidays, I love to get DIY-ing some cute decorations with the kids! For Halloween, I decided that we needed some puppets to act out some spooky plays, so our first puppet was Frankenstein!
Materials:
Green and black construction paper
toilet paper roll
black beads
black sharpie marker
googly eyes
glue
scissors
Directions:
1. Cover the toilet roll with green construction paper (you could also paint it and let it dry).
2. Cut black construction paper for Frankenstein's hair, and glue it on the top.
3. Glue black beads for his "neck bolts" or use real bolts! Hold these on with glue, as they are heavy and need time to dry.
4. Add your googly eyes and a "stitched" mouth!
Try these Halloween songs and fingerplays with your Frankenstein puppet!
