Usually when you choose a restaurant for the family, you have to pick between kid-friendly and gourmet. At Fern you get both!
At dinner time, the kids’ buffet is packed with nutritious, kid-favourite choices, while adults can enjoy an a la carte four-course meal. At lunch, you can enjoy a sit down four-course meal at lunch in the dining room, or enjoy the popular poolside BBQ which is chockfull of choices sure to please the whole family. Great Accommodation Choices – $250+ value
Whether you stay in the Main Inn, one of the hotel-style rooms adjacent to the pool, or in a cottage along the lake, Fern has the accommodation choice to fit your family and budget! All rooms have fireplaces and most have decks with lake views. Air conditioning, a mini fridge, TV/DVD and four-piece bathroom are standard in all units.
Adventure Activities – $100 value

- Zipline: $15 per time

Hiking and Biking – $100 value
Fern’s hiking trails are great for the whole family – and you can also try a pedal go-kart, sign out bikes for the whole family, or take a run through the jogging track. Bike rentals alone could run you up to $100 for a family of four – all included at Fern!
Golf, Sports & Fitness- $210 value
- Fern’s fun family-friendly 5 hole golf course is included with your stay and you can walk on and golf as much as you’d like, or participate in a Fern tournament! Public courses cost at least $50 a round per person, and you need to reserve tee times.
- For the younger set, mini-golf is available all day, and families can drop in and play a round whenever they like! If you’ve ever done a family mini-golf round you know it can run a family of four up to $20 a round, and Fern’s is all included!
- Fern’s tennis courts are open and ready for playing all day long – or try out the basketball court, ball hockey rink, bocci, or shuffleboard!
- Yoga classes are offered daily free of charge; try an aquafit class in the pool, or explore the fitness room with cardio and resistance machines available for your use all day long. Day passes to your local gym would run you $25 a day – here at Fern it’s all included for you to use whenever you like!
Children’s Programming – $200+ value
