Adorn your mantel with toilet rolls? – when they look as good as these pumpkins – for sure! Using recycled toliet paper rolls, you and the kids can make cute pumpkin decorations for Thanksgiving or Halloween!
Materials:
- Empty toilet rolls
- Orange marker or crayon
- Glue
- Scissors
- Orange, yellow, green construction paper
Directions:
Colour the toilet roll orange with crayon or marker.
Cut strips along the width of the construction paper about 1/2 an inch thick and the length of regular size construction paper (8 inches). Draw cut lines for younger children to help with their scissors skills.
Wrap a strip of orange paper into both sides of the toilet rolls, securing inside with glue. Repeat this process all along the circumference of the toilet roll until it looks like a round pumpkin!
You can use yellow construction paper to make yellow pumpkins too! Add a green stem on top with green construction paper or foam.
