This new crafting phenomenon has swept the school yard from Grade 1 to Grade 8, with moms getting in on the looming frenzy as well! Creating friendship bracelets brings us back to our own childhood but with these simple rubber bands in a rainbow of colours, you can now use a cool Rainbow Loom to craft arm candy masterpieces!
Not only is this the coolest craft fun to hit the shelves in a while- both for girls and boys- it's become a HUGE sensation on YouTube. Don't think that this is just a girl's craft, my guys love to create bracelets on rainy days! While we could walk you through our fave patterns like; fishtail, double fishtail and starburst, we will leave it to the teen experts (we like Ashley Steph's channel in our house) to show you the steps.

Starburst (advanced pattern):
You can get in on this craft by starting off with the Rainbow Loom kit (about $20) from several toy and craft stores, like Mastermind and Michael's. The kit contains the loom and a multicolour package of rubber bands and the "c" clips to make your jewelery! Have fun…. one warning, it's addictive!
